About Galaxy

Galaxy is a financial services and investment management firm focused on digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, and the broader crypto economy. Headquartered in New York, with a strong institutional presence, Galaxy operates across trading, asset management, venture investing, and mining. Founded by former Goldman Sachs partner Mike Novogratz, the firm has positioned itself as a bridge between traditional finance and decentralised finance (DeFi), offering products that meet institutional-grade standards for custody, liquidity, and risk management. Galaxy provides capital markets infrastructure for crypto trading, manages active and passive crypto investment funds, and invests in blockchain startups through its venture arm. It is also involved in proprietary mining operations and ESG-focused research into the environmental impact of digital assets. Galaxy continues to expand as institutional interest in digital finance accelerates.
