About Google
Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., is one of the most influential technology companies in the world, providing products and services across search, advertising, cloud computing, hardware, and artificial intelligence. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Mountain View, California, Google’s core business remains its search engine and ad platform, which together generate the majority of Alphabet’s revenue. However, the company has also built industry-leading products such as Android, YouTube, Chrome, Google Maps, and Google Cloud Platform. Google is a pioneer in AI research through DeepMind and Google Research, and continues to lead in quantum computing, machine learning, and natural language processing. The company plays a foundational role in global internet infrastructure and digital ecosystems, while also facing scrutiny around privacy, competition, and content moderation. Through its moonshot division, X, Google also invests in long-term innovations in areas like autonomous vehicles, healthtech, and global connectivity.
